Respect your Working Time. Round it!
It doesn’t matter whether you work in 'Time & Material' mode or 'Fix Price' – consider rounding your working time. In the case of the second model, be sure to include this when preparing your estimate.
Why?
Switching between tasks/projects or taking breaks for meals consumes additional time associated with getting back into the project. Before you feel the flow of work, it can take a few moments—sometimes minutes—to re-engage strongly in the project.
That’s why you should think about rounding. In ESTEAMATE, you have the option to set rounding at the level of each project.
You can find out how and where to do this in our manual.
Important tipEven if you round the time for each task you initiate, you will always have access to your nominal time. You will see it in the summary of the 'Time Entries' module, and you can always decide what rounding you would like to adopt. ESTEAMATE will calculate it for you retrospectively for the selected project.
Respect your time, especially the time that isn’t visible and isn’t so obvious. Getting back into the project costs you additional minutes, which will either become your expense or your income. You decide. Regardless of which model you choose, ESTEAMATE will calculate the value of every minute for you! We will always be on your side!
